Draftsman / Detailer (Precast)

Located in Tauranga, this is a full time permanent role with a well renowned Precast supplier. Responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for the precast concrete industry, you’re collaboration will be key to everyones success. From Engineers and Designers to Project Managers, they’ll all be standing around your desk to ensure everyone can do their job right - ‘cause it starts with the right design.
 

You will need:

• A Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related qualification

• A minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in precast drafting and detailing

• Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM software packages

• Familiar with NZ building codes and industry standards (NZS3404 would be advantageous)

• Great communication skills - verbally and written

• Comfortable with performing under pressure and working to deadlines

• Experienced across Commercial, Industrial and Residential precast design

• Experience in precast concrete detailing in civil/infrastructure projects
