Estimator / Sales (Plumbing)

Working in Estimation and Sales (BDR if you prefer) is the natural progression for someone who has worked in the Plumbing industry for years, still has the passion for the work and wants to develop his/her career.

If you’re a plumbing professional, have a great personality and love communicating while also enjoy the thrill of sales and business development, this is the role for you.

 

You will be:

• Working with existing customers/clients to secure future business and actively searching out new opportunities 

• Estimation to evaluate project requirements, interpret blueprints, and determine the scope of work accurately

• Building strong relationships with clients, in-house team and contractors

• Tracking progress with state of the art apps and software to enable the team to spend less time on paperwork and more time doing the core job

You will need:

• A depth of knowledge across the plumbing industry and a deep understanding of plumbing systems, components, and local building codes is essential

• Proficiency in using estimating software and other technical tools is important for efficiency and accuracy.

• An outgoing personality and awesome attitude 

• Have a clean full NZ Drivers license. 

• Honesty and integrity in your daily activities 

• Experience with both commercial and residential plumbing works. 

• Take pride in your work and to go the extra mile to make sure your work is top
  notch. 

• Great people skills both with fellow workmates and customers

• Earn a salary of between $100-140K
