The Job

• Receive quotation and tender requests from clients; inclusive of design/engineering drawings and project specifications

• Review drawings and complete take-offs to form part of the tender submission

• Review key areas of specifications to identify compliance allowances and/or exclusions

• Compile monthly and periodical reconciliation work for key projects including a review of claims, pricing variations and project measure to ensure accurate claim and cost forecasting

• Continuous communication with clients for purposes of amendments and/or variations

• Communicate regularly with other team members on tender and pricing submission status

 

Your Skills:

• Previous experience in a QS/Estimation in the construction market (preferably 3-4 years)

• Good level of experience with NZ Contracts law

• High standard of knowledge and capability relating to take-offs from detailed design/engineering drawings

• Previous experience in facades would be an advantage

• Good computer literacy with high competency in Microsoft Office products

• Excellent communication skills and a cool head under pressure

• Some industry knowledge would also be an advantage
