The role:

With over 100 years serving the Southern communities and six offices throughout Canterbury and Otago, these guys offer top tier Planning, Surveying and Engineering services with a local knowledge to all fields of the construction and infrastructure industries.
With a brag like that, it’s no surprise they need some more seasoned professionals to help them meet demand. Right now, that could be you:
 

You will be:

  • Providing accurate, precise and up-to-date information pertaining to location of boundaries, topography, legal descriptions/title information, set out of precise construction works and land development infrastructure. 

  • Carry out land title surveys and to lodge them into the national land titles system in New Zealand – under the supervision of a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor.

  • Liaise with associated professionals on land development infrastructure designs and prepare plans/documentation in support of land developments.  

  • Project Management of surveying projects (time, cost, stakeholders, resources etc) and including outsourcing works to contractors as required.

  • Foster good relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

You will need:

  • A relevant land surveying qualification and previous experience on land development projects

  • Experience with 12d Model and CAD software

  • Experience with NZ codes and standards

  • Ideally minimum 3 years' industry experience

  • Negotiation and relationship building skills

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • The ability to work well independently and within a team environment
